Hamilton is a prosperous town graced with British charm. Visitors enjoy rides through the historic district in horse-drawn carriages. For a different view, visit the Government Aquarium, or try snorkeling for an up-close encounter with the marine life. The seas here reward divers with world-class reefs and shipwrecks to explore. Other shore excursions include island tours, glass-bottom boat trips, evening champagne cruises and outings to the pink-sand beaches.

History lies around every corner of this Massachusetts city, which was founded in 1630. Boston is best explored on foot; follow the three-mile Freedom Trail for a sampling of its most notable landmarks. The marked trail leads to 16 historic sites such as the Old North Church, the Paul Revere House and Faneuil Hall. At the trail's end, you can visit the USS Constitution, also known as "Old Ironsides." It's the oldest commissioned warship in the U.S. Navy. Other options: Visit one of Boston's extraordinary museums; explore Cambridge, home to Harvard (it's just across the Charles River); or stop by the Bull & Finch Pub -- it inspired the TV show "Cheers."

A striking blue and gold crystalline sculpture from Murano, Italy, dominates the dramatic three-deck atrium of this ship. In the two-deck dining room, twin staircases frame an orchestra pit and red walls provide a dramatic background for enormous paintings of flowers. The Rubens Lounge is named for the 16th-century Flemish painter; it features a marble and granite dance floor, glass sculptures done in the style of the artist and tapered columns that resemble ballet dancers. Guests enjoy panoramic views of the horizon from the Crow's Nest Lounge at the top of the ship. This lounge is actually divided into three parts: the Captain's Area, which resembles an English pub; the Tea Area, where palm trees create a light and airy ambiance; and the disco, with a bar, dance floor, disc jockey booth and bandstand. One of the most unique features is the Culinary Arts Center, a state-of-the-art show kitchen with plasma video screens and cooking display counters -- a must-see for food and wine enthusiasts.
